Appoint senior educational officers to take on the Guardian's duties

Give the pupil parental care during his/her stay in the UK

Supervise the pupil for his/her behaviour and academic performance at school, and provide him/her with appropriate guidance so as to make better progress all round

Liaise with the pupil's school regularly and attend the school's parents' meetings and other important events on behalf of the parents

Report regularly to the pupil's parents about the pupil's welfare and study in the UK and discuss with them all the important matters concerning the pupil

Help the pupil in dealing with important matters such as university applications, university interviews, visa extension applications and so on

In case of emergency, such as serious illness or accident, contact relevant people and places to make sure the pupil gets the appropriate treatment and is well taken care of

Arrange accommodation, self-study, extra private tuitions and other activities for the pupil during school holidays and make sure that the pupil spends his/her holidays happily and meaningfully

Transfer the pupil for school holidays between the school and pre-arranged local accommodation, and between the school and local airport/station

Make sure the pupil's travel arrangements are in line with the school's term dates
